I'm a 74 year old retired physician. About a year and a half ago my massage therapist sent me information about Austin's Posture workshop. At the time I was having neck and upper back pain, a stiff and painful left shoulder, and early signs of problems with my knees. What he had to say, and demonstrated in the workshop, made a lot of sense to me, and did not conflict with my medical knowledge, so I signed up for some sessions with him. He basically had me doing a series of simple exercises designed to work on my symptoms, initially under his supervision, and then on my own at home. And guess what? The aforementioned problems melted away, and providing I keep up with the exercises, stay away.  I can even do backstroke again. And as a bonus, he has a delightful personality, and a sense of humour.
